Rondos Dance Theatre presents Unfolding in Moncton – ImpactFest | Atlantic Ballet Atlantique Canada

Rondos Dance Theatre will be presenting “Unfolding”, featuring dancer Clare Bassett, as part of Impact Fest in Moncton presented by the Atlantic Ballet Theatre.

Unfolding will be performed on January 20th at 7:30 p.m. at the Atlantic Ballet Studios (double bill with KasheDance)

About the performance:

This solo work by Saint John choreographer Georgia Rondos is an intimate look at the uncertainty and struggle we experience when writing things down on paper. A beautiful video by Nathan Savage accompanies the piece and depicts this struggle, desolation but also hope.

 

 

Winterfest

An eclectic evening of dance presented in The Studio’s BLACK BOX Studio Theatre at 187 St James Street in Saint John, on Thursday, December 28th at 7:00 p.m.

Rondos Dance Theatre performed new & old work, including an excerpt from “Gwion Gwion”.

The show included Nawal Doucette, Karen Galbraith, Kelli Wray, Li-Hong Xu, Felicita, The Studio Dance School, Rondos Dance Theatre and musicians Adrienne Sayer Buckley, John Buckley,  Chris Buckley and Eason Zhang

Dancers in this production include: Clare Bassett, dancer Ballet Ireland (and former dancer with Kelowna Ballet); Liam Caines dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Liam also held a Residency with Rondos Dance Theatre in 2016.
